You will never find any additives, preservatives or artificial ingredients in our products. We are dedicated to supporting local and organic farmers while also promoting sustainability. What is the difference between cold-pressed and the juice I make at home?
Cold-pressing is the process of extracting juice from fruits and vegetables through the use of high pressure rather than heat. Our commercial cold press machine first gently grinds the produce into a pulp before it is placed between steel plates which slowly come together and apply thousands of pounds of pressure to the pulp. This method allows us to extract five times the amount of vitamins, minerals and enzymes as a typical centrifugal or mastication produced juice. What is left at the end is a dried out pulp which contains little to no nutritional value (since all of your nutrients are now in your juice!) All of our juices are topped off before bottling to further minimize any oxidation and stay fresh and alive for up to 72 hours.
In contrast, the juicers used in many households are centrifugal or masticating juicers. These juicers use a blade which rotates at high speeds to cut up the produce which is then pushed through a fine mesh to extract the juice. This method, although a lot quicker, results in a lower juice yield, tends to aerate the juice and leaves behind a large portion of pulp that still holds a good amount of nutrients. Juices made through this method should typically be consumed within 20 minutes before significant nutritional deterioration occurs.
What is the shelf life of the juices? Do they need to be refrigerated?
All of our juices at Juice Society are raw & unpasteurized. It is important that they are refrigerated upon delivery and until prior to your consumption. All of our juices retain their peak nutritional value for up to 72 hours. We suggest checking the bottom of the bottle for the exact expiration date.
My juice separated, does that mean it went bad?
Separation is completely normal in our cold-pressed juice! Just give it a good shake & sip away.
How many calories are in your juice?
We don't believe in counting calories here at Juice Society as not all calories are created equally. 100 calories from a green juice is not the equivalent of 100 calories from french fries. We believe in nutrient dense, living, raw foods that despite the calories will nourish, heal and replenish your body with what it needs. For those with caloric concerns we recommend our all vegetable juices as those tend to contain the lowest calories & sugar.
Are your juices 100% organic?
Yes. Our juices are made with organic produce that is also local whenever possible. We are big believers in supporting small, local, organic & sustainable farms that provide produce free of chemicals, herbicides and pesticides.

Ordering & Delivery
Why do I have to pre-order my juice cleanse?
At Juice Society we strive to provide the most high quality, nutrient dense cold-pressed juice possible. This is why we receive our produce, prep, cold-press, hand bottle, package and deliver our juices all within 12-24 hours. Our process ensures that our customers are receiving the freshest product possible.
Do I have to be home to accept my juice delivery?
Yes. Since our juices are highly perishable and need to be refrigerated immediately, it is important that someone is there to receive the delivery. If our driver arrives and no one is home they will attempt to call you to inform you that your package is delivered. Juice Society is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged goods once delivered. If you need to change your delivery time on your order please do so by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name, address and requested delivery time.
Do you deliver to businesses?

Can I cancel my order after I order it?
We know that life can get hectic and unexpected events may occur which is why we encourage you to try and prepare as well as possible for your cleanse. If you must cancel your order we have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Any order cancelled later than 48 hours cannot be refunded.
Do you accept returns?
No, we do not. If there was any issue with your order or your drinks please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will remedy the situation as we see fit.
Juice Society is not meant to treat, prevent, diagnose or cure. Our juices are raw and have not been pasteurized and, therefore, may contain harmful bacteria that can cause serious illness in children, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems.
