The Power of Vitamin E

I have dealt with skin problems for as long as I can remember. From my teens to now, my early 20’s, I was constantly dealing with breakouts, blackheads, and scarring. I used every over-the-counter acne medication and even made multiple trips to the dermatologist, but nothing seemed like a long lasting solution to my problem. This led me to seek an all-natural approach to my dilemma, which is where I discovered the power of Vitamin E!

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant, which helps repair damaged cells caused by free radicals. It is important to consume Vitamin E in our everyday diet in order to keep our bodies healthy and strong. Not only does Vitamin E help nourish our hair, skin, and nails, but it also includes a wide variety of health benefits, such as enhancing our immune system, strengthening cardiovascular health, and regulating hormones.

Let’s breakdown the ways we can consume Vitamin E, as well as ways we can incorporate Vitamin E oil into our everyday beauty routine to give our skin that extra glow.

Sources of Vitamin E

Vitamin E occurs naturally in plant-based foods, such as almonds, spinach, kale, sweet potato, and plant oils. It can also be found in superfood powders such as tocos, spirulina, and wheat grass. Best part about all of this? Juice Society has a variety of food and drink options that are rich in Vitamin E to help give your body that boost it needs. These include:

·      OMGreens

·      The General

·      Zest

·      Banana Cream

·      Purple Haze

·      Tropical Greens

·      Avocado Banana Mousse

·      Avocado Toast

·      Activated Latte

·      Superfood Matcha Latte

How to Use Vitamin E Oil

Vitamin E oil can be used in a variety of ways for hair, skin, and nail health. It is life changing for treating blemishes, dry skin, scarring, sunspots and wrinkles! Is this stuff magic? Here’s my favorite Vitamin E oil facemask recipe:

Rosewater and Vitamin E Oil facemask

Mix together 1 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil with 4-5 drops of rose water.

Rub onto skin and let sit for 15 minutes.

Afterwards, wash off with cool water.

Another way to incorporate Vitamin E oil in our daily life is to use it as cuticle oil or mixed in with coconut oil as a hair growth serum. These methods changed the game when it came to my daily beauty routine and the best part is that it’s all-natural! Thank you vitamin gods!
